This release is all about tickets. We’ve made a tonne of little tweaks to the design, making it easier to suss what type of tickets you've got and highlighting whether it's in real life or online. If you've got any feedback, let us know at help@dice.fm.

Search has had a little makeover - filtering events by type, genre, price and date is a lot cleaner, and now it all sits under the magnifying glass (groundbreaking, we know). Anything you've recently searched for will also stick around, just in case you need to find it again. As always, if you have any feedback - email help@dice.fm.

We've rejigged your profile - it's easier on the eye *and* easier to see your friends and favourite artists. Your saved events are there too, with all of your settings neatly tucked away in the cog in the top right corner. If you've got any feedback, let us know at help@dice.fm.

Two things of note:
1. Previously, if you were in a city where DICE wasn’t live yet then you wouldn’t see any live events - now that we have so many great live streams happening, we’ll populate your Discover with online events.
2. This also means that recommendations aren’t tied to your location. In fact, if you’ve synced your music library, the streams that appear in Discover are tailored to your tastes.

Say hello to DICE TV. Since we’re all stuck inside, we’re going to keep you company with online events you can stream from the comfort of your own home.
Your ticket will have a link to the stream, you can invite friends, and as always, we'd love to know what you think.

As a response to COVID-19, we have made it easy to see which events are going ahead, and which are postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled. Head to your tickets or to the event in the app to track the status, and see a note from event organisers detailing their refund policy.
We know this is a difficult time - for fans, for venues, and for organisers. We're updating events information regularly, and working closely with the industry to stay ahead of developments.

Wish it was easier to pick the perfect show for you and a friend? One you'll both enjoy, that matches both your tastes? Now you can head to their profile, and see recommendations for shows that do just that.
We built profiles to make going out easier. Now you'll always have something to do, together.

Everyone deserves the best friends possible - that’s why we’ve updated our Friends feature.
Now you and your mates can follow each other on DICE, share info about the events you're saving or booking and get that quality time locked in.
But don't forget - the key to great friendship is boundaries, so you won't have anyone following you unless you've already given them your phone number.

You've got the gang together, sorted the tickets, and prepared for tomorrow by telling the boss you're 'feeling a bit peaky today'. Now you just need to focus on tonight. What time are the band on stage? Who's the support? You've checked the venue's Twitter, the FB event. Sometimes the devil is those details, so with this update we've redesigned our event notes to make it even simpler to find out what you need to know. Now all you've got to worry about is whether or not you get a Nando's first.

Here at DICE we feel a bit like a year round Kris Kringle, dropping booking free tickets down your proverbial chimney with joy and abandon for all 365 days. And just like Kris during his sojourn in Cole's department store, they said we were crazy. But we stayed strong, and three years on we're bringing you another festive update loaded with plenty to do on NYE, and an extra satsuma or two at the bottom of a few of your stockings. Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.
